Gold-Filled Mother of Pearl & Swarovski Crystal Earrings

14 kt gold-filled earrings featuring white mother of pearl coins accented with a 4mm genuine Swarovski pink opal crystal and a pale, translucent, pink/purple glass rondelle.

Length of these earrings is approximately 3.7 cm (1.5 inches) from top of hook. Diameter of mother of pearl coins is approximately 14mm (0.5 inches), and they are about 2mm (just over 1/16 inch) thick in the centre.

Gold plated = very thin layer of gold over top of a base metal such as copper or brass. (Gold layer is about .05 microns in thickness.)

Gold vermeil = very thin layer of gold over top of silver. (Gold layer is about 2.5 microns in thickness.)

Gold fill = thick layer of gold over top of either brass or silver. (Gold layer has to comprise at least 5% of the item by weight.)
